Alright, nothing too exciting happened this weekend. Travis said things went well at CCO as he was the "soundmaster" this weekend. Friday night I had the board dinner and the board meeting was Saturday morning but other than that, we hung out with Tennyson, watched Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel and relaxed.
Tennyson has started crying uncontrollably at times for no reason, I thought he was just fighting sleep but he has a clean diaper, a full belly and still cries, especially at night. The home health nurse came this morning and colic was discussed as that would be the only explanation she can think of. We discussed some possible things to try that could help ease his discomfort, though there is no cure for colic we will try a few things to help hopefully.
Tennyson weighed 7 lbs. 1.8 ounces so he didn't gain much over the weekend however otherwise looks perfect she said. She monitored his sat levels the entire time he was here and he never dropped below 100 so she turned him down to 50ccs and he now receives holidays for up to 6 hours daily so we're really excited about that. She said next week he will be at 25ccs which is room air and will only need to wear the oxygen during long naps and while sleeping so again we're thrilled.
I received a call from Freeman this afternoon because our insurance company hasn't given the pharmacy approval for his second Synagist shot (for the RSV) which is due Thursday so I called and had our case worker call so hopefully we'll receive it in the mail by Wednesday. I think its so strange that they send his vaccine to our home in the mail but what do I know.
Otherwise things here are going great, we're so blessed with his progress and he's starting to be awake for longer periods of time so we have some 'play' time in each day which is so fun.
I will update you again soon hopefully with some pictures...but for now be sure to visit Freeman's website as they've uploaded his photos now. I don't think they look like him any longer but be sure to look under his birthdate which was Sept. 24. Here's the link...http://www.our365.com/WebNursery/WebNursery/BabyFinder/BabyResultsByHospital.aspx?id=0. If however this doesn't work visit freemanhealth.com then look under babies online.
Love you all-

Tennyson, do you just miss your Granny??? (SMILE) I miss you! We did have a good time with Aunt Jenny and Uncle Tyler. We haven't seen them for along time because Granny kept coming your way! I hope your tummy aches in the night get better! I think play time sounds great!!! You have so many nice things to play and books to read. You should have come to Granny's and did the Friday all-nighter with Uncle Tyler and me! Granny is too old for that very often! Must run, but so glad you are doing WONDERFUL!! Hugs and Kisses Precious One,
Granny and Poppie, too
Hey Travis, Lindsay and Tennyson, glad to hear things are going well. Tennyson looks SO good! I just want to get his sugars!! :-) Our youngest, Cody, was fussy like that in the evening from about 3wks old to about 2months or so. I remember reading that babies stomachs arent' quite "mature" (for lack of a better word) until around 2-3 months and that's usually when colic appears. We found that being in his swing during that time made him (and us) much happier. Just keep trying all different things until you find something that works. We will be praying for you!
The Herndons
It is good to hear you guys are doing well. We're still praying for the 3 of you - that you all stay healthy and that the insurance stuff works out. Insurance is a blessing but it can also be a pain in the ol' tushie. :o)
Tennyson, it's Friday and Granny is very excited Trudy is coming home! Can you hardly wait to meet her? I am anxious to introduce you two! I know you will be "best buddies"! She is practicing right now on four little boys and she is falling in love with everyone of them. I think, she is going to think you are one of her "favorites" too! (SMILE) I love you and just wanted to remind you we don't have to wait very long now! Pray for Granny to calm down and stay focused on her work at hand! Love you little guy! Your Restless Granny
