And more...can you tell we're proud parents, he is after all the cutest child in the world!

Something I forgot to mention in the first post is that he receives two breathing treatments a day to increase his lungs stamina. You will notice many of the pictures are during the breathing treatments as that's when you can see the most of his face. We will be posting more of course however I haven't downloaded them from the camera yet but hope to soon. I will try and send updates daily but we'll see how I do. I don't really like to leave him unless I absolutely have to, he's so precious! We're so thankful that our lives have been so blessed already by Tennyson, God is good, ALL the time!
The update from the nurses this morning was again positive as he's now weighing in at 3 lbs. 3.3 oz. with no residual (which means he's doing well with his feedings). They've increased his feedings from 4ML/2HR to 6ML/2HR so that's a plus. Please continue to be praying that he will not encounter an infection and that his body will continue to develop and be strengthened, especially those little lungs. He will be on a feeding tube until at least 34 weeks gestation (today we're at 30 weeks) because he hasn't developed the sucking, swallowing, breathing reflex yet. Also he's getting some eyelashes and eyebrows which most preemies are born without but they're coming. He's very hairy over the rest of his body but they say many times at 34 weeks all that will be lost. Currently he has dark hair like his daddy and even has his daddy's chops and 5 o'clock shadow, it's cute. The results from his head ultrasound which was done yesterday came back normal which means there is no bleeding on his brain which is a common obstacle with many preemies. He's in God's hands and together they're defying all the odds right now, we will continue to pray that the recovery is swift and his transition is smooth.
At this time that's all I know however if we find something out later, I will update you on that as well. Thanks for joining us on this journey and love you guys!

The memories came flooding back as we read your blog and thought of our time with Asher. We know what you are going through and our prayers are with you. What a beautiful miracle God has performed in the life of Tennyson and you will be reminded of that every day through this journey. Know that so many are walking through this with you!

I am so proud of the two of you, your strength in the Lord is so overwhelming, and should teach us all to bless him more. Your son is precious and he looks to be a very strong boy. I love all the pictures your mom brought to work, my favs are the ones where you are looking at Tennyson, the love and care in your facial expression is worth a million . We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers, I put you on the First Christian Church prayer chain. Keep us updated with the blog, only if you have the time. We love you very much.

What a beautiful little boy! Hang in there guys. Lindsay, I told your mom last week if there is any couple that could do this, it was you and Travis. Continue to rely on your faith, as well as your family and friends. You have a lot of people loving and supporting you. Much love and many continued prayers for you all!
